Because even when my main goal is to focus on my beliefs, it still hurts when she says that I’m not attractive.

Because she has yet to understand that even though I am a strong, healthy and independent woman, I still want her to support me in my choices.

He walked up to my register sometime in April with a coupon that clearly stated it had expired in mid-March.  He didn’t have any items, he wasn’t trying to use it or dispute the policy, he just wanted to know why it was expired.  After a moment’s confused silence, I was like, “Because March was last month, and it’s April now?”  And he smiled, said, “All right,” and walked away.  I’d say the void stared back into me that day.
