My final for advanced illustration at PNCA was to do an illustration around the theme of “magical girls”.
So I made my version of them since I am not a fan of the genre. This is her “death scene”.

New painting, because I finally met this character and he’s pretty fascinating and wow I love wings and trenchcoats… This’ll be a limited edition print available in my personal shop!

This was my final project in art school. I designed the cover and made illustrations to one of my favourite books - “American Gods” by Neil Gaiman.
It was hard but enjoyable work, and my room was covered in ink blotches for at least six months.

The scenes are (hopefully) placed in proper relation to each other and the riverrun. Here’s my favorite line from this extraordinary chapter: “The young man raised his cap abruptly: the young woman abruptly bent and with slow care detached from her light skirt a clinging twig.”
