Why do we put so much damn importance on style anyway? Shouldn’t it be what they do for their people that’s important? As opposed to how “fashionable” they look?Left to right: Princess Letizia of Spain , French first lady Carla Bruni, our own first lady Michelle Obama.
Style icon? Really?! I’ve never been a believer. Expensive labels, yes. Great style, no.
she definitely looks like the maid, but maybe she’s dressing down to not seem gaudy in a recession.
hmmm
Dude it’s just one outfit, usually she looks amazing. And it’s from the back, we can’t even tell what the outfit was.
Or maybe our first lady is just awesome enough to rock what-ever she’s wearing and not give a damn? Andohman does Letizia look way too skinny. Bruni is a former model as well (old habits die hard?). Like Cait said—it’s not a matter of how they look, it’s how well they lead things (without being a pop-idol sensation, France.)
