For the longest time, all through middle school and high school and even into the first few years of college, I didn’t want to teach. I still held that delusion that I would become a ~famous writer~ and be content with that. Then I accepted the idea of teaching as a means to an end and resigned myself to it. Then I started thinking “you know that’s not such a bad idea after all!” I had some wonderful teachers during my years, and so I want to be able to do the same for others.
So my plans for grad school also shifted greatly. Though now my dream plan is to just be surrounded by books, regardless of the setting.

I’m normally not a very organized person, and allow my stuff to get disorganized very easily. But then when I sit down to reorganize it, one small bookshelf can pretty much take me a day because I am constantly arranging and rearranging books into certain categories that I forget shortly after.
